Senior Position in PR (Corporate Practice)

A leading public relations and communications firm is looking for a Senior Position for their corporate practice for Mumbai location. The individual will join client servicing team for working with Corporate & Finance clients, in Corporate & Financial Practice. This practice services clients across multiple sectors like Banking & Finance, Aviation, Energy, Power, Education, Consulting and Government, working with some of the leading players in the industry.

Requirements : Ideal candidate would have to be :

Educational Qualification - Graduate or Post Graduate in any stream or professional qualification in the field of public relations or marketing communication.

Client Servicing - Person should be capable of driving service quality, client retention & growth for the SBU; developing the strategy/annual/quarter plan for the client portfolio under control; providing counsel to senior members of the client organisation; providing senior level counsel on media, crisis, messaging, etc.; developing strong professional relationships with the key client representatives and developing professional relationships with journalists, analysts and key influencers.

Knowledge Innovation and Quality - Person should take ownership of inculcating and driving penetration of domain and functional knowledge and expertise across all levels though sharing of knowledge, best practices and industry developments. He/ she should be able to contribute to thought leadership in the industry.

People Management - Coordinate with Talent team for operational people matters; focus on key talent retention and development and conduct select training sessions as required

Internal - Must ensure adherence to the client service, business and employee processes of the firm. Ensuring an open, transparent and apolitical work environment

Minimum Requirements :

Minimum 8 years of work experience in public relations or the communications industry, out of which at least 4 years should be in a leadership position servicing Corporate & Finance sector clients. Should have both agency and corporate work experience
