A leading public relations and communications firm is looking for a Senior Position for Gurgaon location. The individual will join client servicing team for working with Brands, Sports and Entertainment Practice. This Practice services clients in FMCG, Lifestyle, Entertainment, Food and Beverage, Luxury, Fashion and Consumer Sector. The team works with some of the leading players in the industry. Specific experience in the Entertainment sector is desired for this role.

The Individual will be responsible to ensure business growth of the practice in a sustainable and a profitable manner in line with the Firm's Public Relations business strategy; provide leadership and direction to the team and ensure high quality of service delivery & customer satisfaction with focus on Key Client Relationships. The individual leads a practice area and is responsible for the development and growth of his/her Strategic Business Unit (SBU). Additionally, the individual will assist the Practice Leader in leading the strategic business initiatives of the firm.

Requirements: Ideal candidate would have to be:

1. Educational Qualification - Graduate or Post Graduate in any stream or professional qualification in the field of public relations or marketing communication.

2. Client Servicing - Individual should be capable of driving service quality, client retention & growth for the SBU; developing the strategy/annual/quarter plan for the client portfolio under control; providing counsel to senior members of the client organisation; conducting client training workshops on media, crisis, messaging, etc., developing strong professional relationships with the key client representatives and developing professional relationships with journalists, analysts and key influencers.

3. Knowledge Innovation and Quality - Individual should take ownership of inculcating and driving penetration of domain and functional knowledge and expertise across all levels though sharing of knowledge, best practices and industry developments. He/ she should be able to contribute to thought leadership in the industry.

4. People Management - Coordinate with Talent team for operational people matters; focus on key talent retention and development and conduct select training sessions as required

5. Internal - Must ensure adherence to the client service, business and employee processes of the firm. Ensuring an open, transparent and apolitical work environment

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum 8-9 years of work experience in public relations or the communications industry, out of which at least 4 years should be in a leadership position servicing Brand and Lifestyle clients in the Brands, Sports and Entertainment space
