Job Description:

The Head of Procurement & Contracts will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of procurement and contract management of the organization. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective sourcing of materials, services, and contract execution while upholding the highest standards of quality and luxury in our real estate projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Procurement:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy to support the company's goals and objectives.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers while maintaining quality and luxury standards.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.

Contract Management:

- Oversee the creation, review, and negotiation of contracts with suppliers, contractors, and other service providers.

- Ensure contracts are legally sound and in alignment with company policies and requirements.

- Monitor contract performance, compliance, and resolve any issues that may arise.

Vendor Management:

- Identify, evaluate, and select vendors and suppliers based on quality, reliability, and pricing.

- Collaborate with vendors to improve their performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

- Establish and maintain a vendor database for efficient procurement.

Budget Oversight:

- Manage and control the procurement budget to optimize spending and cost effectiveness.

- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, cost analysis, and savings achieved.

Quality Assurance:

- Ensure all materials and services procured meet the high-quality standards expected in luxury real estate development.

- Collaborate with project teams to uphold quality and luxury in all aspects of procurement and contracts.

Compliance and Risk Management:

- Stay up-to-date with all applicable laws and regulations related to procurement and contracts.

- Mitigate and manage risks associated with procurement and contracts.

Qualifications:

- BE / MBA from a reputed institute with expertise in Supply Chain Management and 15-18 years of relevant experience, preferably in Mumbai

- Proven experience in procurement, contract management, and vendor relations, preferably in the real estate or luxury sector.

- Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

- Excellent knowledge of procurement software and tools.

- Familiarity with local and international procurement laws and regulations.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality
