Senior Role - Market Risk Reporting - Investment Bank

Very Senior mandate Job opportunity with Leading Investment Bank at Mumbai Location.

Position requires controlling and heading the entire BU with extremely good leadership quality and vast expertise on Risk and Finance Data Analytics and Reporting

Head of Data Management and Controls (DMC) function,Validation / Control checks

The role involves:

- Management and oversight of the teams performing Validation / Control checks on data sourced for Risk and Finance as part of the daily BAU reporting process.

- Develop a thorough understanding of all the policies and procedures that the DMC team needs to adhere to, with a view to ensuring all team members are effectively adhering to them and all supporting evidence is saved

- Effectively track data quality issues and provide regular update to senior management and the Data Quality Management team.

- Working closely with the Stakeholers, IT Departments, Controllersand your counterparts in other regions

- To actively participate in Governance and Project forums that require DMC representation. For projects the team is involved in, to participate in the roll out of enhancements in risk systems, processes and data feeds.

- Responsibility for Human Capital management and development responsibility as well as accountability to deliver key projects the team is involved in

Degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting or similar

- 10+ years of professional work experience of which at least 6+ years in an Investment bank within the risk domain.

- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across department.

- High level of responsibility and accountability; able to operate in efficient and organised manner

- Team management experience with ability to build, train and drive team members to achieve common goals

- Ability to work and collaborate with diverse teams across geographies

- Ability to liaise effectively with key senior stakeholders (various levels) across different business areas

- Ability to multi-task in a constantly demanding environment
