LLB Must  This is an executive legal role as Legal Counsel, India based in Mumbai, solid-line reporting to the Chief Counsel for India based in Mumbai. The Legal Counsel will provide legal advice to the business units in India.   Responsibilities will include -   - Providing commercial support for sales of products and services including drafting, negotiation, and advisory.  - Liaising for legal and regulatory clearances  - Proactively managing disputes and litigations  - Advising on employment law matters  The role requires strong leadership, communications and interpersonal skills and an ability to work across diverse teams and within a multinational, matrixed organization.  In addition, the ideal candidate will have the following skills, abilities, and traits.  - Pragmatic, solutions-based approach to achieving business objectives in a legal and ethical manner  - Ability to interpret and apply laws to practical business scenarios  - Strong contract drafting and review skills with attention to detail  - Experience in handling contentious matters, including litigation and arbitration  - Skill in managing intellectual property rights  - Knowledge of employment law  - Minimum of 10 years PQE  The Job location is Mumbai  Candidates should have a good command of the English language.
