Senior Role - Finance Control - IT

Finance Control (10-15 yrs)

- Local lead and point of contact for systems/process integration from existing environment to Qualitest's global platforms/processes;

- Responsible for accurate and timely reporting month close of local legal entity's books;

- Assist the India Controller with the preparation of analyses on actual performance versus forecast, budget, prior period data, etc.;

- Manage and oversee local operational finance functions such as invoicing, accounts payable, payroll processing, time entry compliance, and the like;

- Manage the outsourcing of transactional and bookkeeping work to global finance shared service team;

- Oversee all local tax and regulatory reporting including local statutory audits;

- Identify process and control improvements and assist with continued transformation initiatives;

- On an as needed basis, provide analyses to global finance management and local delivery team business partners;

- Cultivate working relationships with other local department heads;

- Take ownership of various projects and delegate/manage deliverables from local and shared service finance staff;

- Lead local finance team meetings and presentations to local delivery personnel;

- Identify areas for cost reductions and operational improvements;

- Supervise local finance staff and provide annual performance evaluations;

Qualifications:

- At least 5 years of experience in accounting and/or finance;

- Prior management or supervisory experience in private industry;

- Working knowledge of IFRS and local taxation/compliance rules;

- Some public accounting / external audit experience preferred;

- Local accounting certification preferred;

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills;

- Strong oral and written communication skills;

- Preference for a Bachelor's degree in finance, management, accounting, business administration, or other relevant fields;

- Strong analytical skills;

- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly on Excel;

- Ideally some experience with NetSuite accounting system preferred (Qualitest's accounting system);
