Reason for the hire: The dynamic program of RajPusht comes with an agenda to address the shortcomings of the Integrated Child Development Service (ICDS) in terms of a wider outreach and a more result driven quest to upscale the level of nutrition among women and children and maintaining key partnership relations with stakeholders like CIFF, Government Bodies, Corporates etc. The robust program aims to bring a positive change in knowledge, attitudes and practices around consumption of nutrient dense food by Pregnant and Lactating Women (PLW) and children through intensive Behavioural Change Communication (BCC); hence IPE Global is looking for a BCC Expert who will be leading the Communication &amp; Behaviour Change portfolio of the project. S/he will be responsible for providing technical leadership in designing communication &amp; behaviour change strategies and providing support to the state &amp; district teams in operationalzing of communication strategies. Roles and Responsibilities -&nbsp; - Provide technical assistance in the development, pre-testing and evaluation of information, education and communication materials; - Lead in writing and producing communication materials such as development stories, press releases, brochures, newsletters, posters, video scripts, reports, Power Point presentation, etc. - Lead the design of the community mobilization and BCC strategy, design the community needs assessment, research best methods of engaging with the communities - Organize capacity building and training in IEC/BCC approaches as needed under the project. - Liaise with media agencies, partner organizations, and field staff for development of quality outputs; Must Haves: - University degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Social Sciences or a related relevant field from a recognized university is essential. - At least 10 years of experience in designing, and implementing social and behavioural change communication; - Strong understanding of participatory communication design - Strong writing abilities and communication capacity - Ability to influence diverse actors - government, civil society and communities - Proven expertise in monitoring and evaluating activities on the basis of applied communication research. Preferable: - Experience of working on large scale cash transfer programmes or direct benefits transfer - Good operational understanding of Maternal &amp; Child Nutrition and Health programmes - Preference will be given to those having previous experience of working with demanding clients, private foundations and corporate - Able to oversee program implementation plans and coordinate with field staff implementing these plans - Ability to translate data / information into a comprehensive narrative for multiple audiences - Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
