Senior Role - Audit/Commercial Audit - Consulting Firm

Your Responsibilities:

- Effectively execute/manage the Audit process with appropriate consideration of audit risk issues and accounting technical matters under a senior/manager guidance.

- The nature of work will include (but will not be limited to) executing statutory audits under GAAP and IFRS for US clients. Industry of clients will included (but will not be limited to) Telecom, Media and entertainment, Technology, FMCG, Banking, Cannabis, Pension Audits, affordable housing, Governmental audits, NFP and others.

- Manage the onshore/client's team expectations including liaising with other departments within/outside the firm to ensure the smooth delivery of the Audit process.

- Application and solution-based approach to problem solving, referred to for research on delivery of solutions in that field on client assignments.

- Expertise in accounting frameworks (US GAAP) and in related financial reporting matters.

- Identify areas requiring improvement to the audit process and possible recommendations.

- Technical competence - Demonstrates a good level of technical knowledge and judgment and has the ability to develop well-reasoned and researched arguments on client issues.

- Knowledge management- Contribution to knowledge sharing efforts, reviews and continually improves processes so that the team and the firm capture and leverage knowledge
