Job Name Sr Risk Manager- Treasury Mid Office

Job Purpose

Supervision of activities handled by team. Review of critical risk / regulatory reports. Designing checks and controls for error free reporting, streamlining processes and driving automation. Coordination with other departments for smooth completion of activities.

Job Responsibilities(JR) : 6 8 Areas Actionable (4-6)

- Monitoring and reporting of risk and movement analysis.

- Review of critical credit risk reports and movement analysis performed by team.

- Escalations for pending approvals related to exceptions pertaining to limit excess.

- Ensure that reporting standards conform to the regulatory / internal policies.

- Keep the team abreast about changes in internal policies. Conduct training and prepare process manual.

- Liase with cross functions to devise processes related to new business requirements.

- Create process manuals to ensure standardized reporting.

- Valuation of Treasury Portfolio.

- To supervise MTM valuation and movement analysis of treasury product.

- Build requisite checks and validation to ensure completeness and accuracy.

Regulatory reporting.

- Review of critical reports and movement analysis performed by team.

- Prepare data related to Risk based supervision submission to RBI.

- Handle Adhoc data preparation for surveys conducted by regulators. eg QIS / SRSS

- Ensure error free submission within specified TAT.

- Keep the team abreast about changes in regulatory policies. Conduct training and prepare process manual.

- Timely updation of regulatory reporting in compliance module.

System Implementation.

- Focus on automation of activities to reduce TAT and risk of manual error. Work closely with BTG / Vendor on system implementation providing critical inputs on design and system architecture.

- Envisage scenarios and prepare test cases to validate all possible outcomes.

Team Management

- Maintaining a congenial work atmosphere.

- Ensure bank's policies related to work place & office hours are adhered to.
