Oversee financial and investment research projects for various clients including investment banks, corporate finance advisories, asset managers, hedge funds, private equity firms, large corporations and consultancy firms.  - Manage work on varied projects that may include:  - Equity and Fixed Income/ Credit research, including company and sector reports, financial modeling, forecasting and valuation  - M&A research such as target identification, market sizing, company profiling, merger modeling, valuation comps, pitch book preparation  - Comprehensive financial analysis of companies and peer benchmarking for corporate/ consulting clients  - Industry studies, Macroeconomic research  - Data-intensive tasks such as screening companies based on appropriate financial and operating metrics  Team Management:  Manages the team assigned to him/her with respect to:  - Career management  - Expectations and mapping aspirations to internal opportunities  - Grooming & mentoring  - Performance management  - Rewards & recognitions  - Training needs identification  - Monitoring skill, will and work ethics and making sure these are aligned with TSC standards  - Utilisation (monitoring staffing)  - Leave management  Client Management:  - Works very closely with the sales team to grow the client account  - Is responsible for the overall quality of engagement with the client  - Makes constant efforts to build or strengthen the relationship with the client POC/key requestors - by regularly leading engagement level discussions  - Makes proactive efforts to maintain high utilisation in the account  - Effectively builds trust and confidence with the client and acts in a consultative manner to retain and grow FTE contracts  - Is constantly aware of the client- s business environment and shares the relevant developments with the relevant sales person  - Identifies up-selling/cross-selling opportunities in the account and flags it to the sales person  - For prospective and new clients, engages with the sales team in offering the right solutions  Project Management:  - Ensures quality and timelines are adhered to  - Effectively communicates project expectations to the team and deliverables to the clients (both external/internal)  - Supervises multiple projects (6-12 FTEs)  - Manages projects of strategic/critical nature as a hands-on PL Organisational Task Management:  1. Contributes to Unit administration activities  2. Assists the UH in keeping the pulse of the team, identifying attrition risks and/or other compelling issues  3. Contributes to process improvement initiatives  4. Contributes to TSC IP development  5. Contributes towards maintaining an environment of trust and collaboration in the group  6. Contributes to Thought Leadership by writing blogs, whitepapers or cubism articles  7. Is a trainer, dedicated to the training pool
