Position : Senior Research Analyst -- Documentation on Collateral Calculations

Location : Mumbai /Pune/Chennai

Requirement :

- Background in Counter party Credit Risk

- Good writing skills

Typical job description :

- Ensure completeness of credit risk data in the systems

- Design solutions to feed the exposure/trades/position data into the systems

- Liaise with credit risk management and methodology teams to understand projects requirements

- Document functional specifications, ensure all feeds are documented

- Liaise with IT team to implement and test the changes

- Resolution of queries raised by credit officers

Skill sets required :

- Experience of banking or securities including previous experience in collateral analysis, or credit or related function. Experience in middle office or operations at a top-tier investment manager, hedge fund or investment bank preferred

- Demonstrate an understanding of operational and credit risks, and the use of collateral and marginal as tools for risk management

- Experience with RiskMetrics/RiskManager, Advent/Syncova, VB, Excel, and SQL.

- Understanding of the application of derivatives within an investment strategy, specifically the relevant risks and appropriate controls required across the transaction life cycle.

- Knowledge of derivative documentation, particularly ISDA/CSAs and collateral management, would be beneficial.
