Job Summary:

The Senior Relationship Manager - Central Government Business plays a pivotal role in acquiring and managing relationships with Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) under the central government. The primary objective is to build strong, long-term relationships with PSU clients, understanding their financial needs, and offering appropriate banking solutions. Here is a general outline of the responsibilities and qualifications:

Responsibilities:

- Identify and acquire new PSU clients under the central government to expand the bank's customer base.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing PSU clients, understanding their banking requirements, and providing customized solutions.

- Provide financial advisory services to PSU clients, including investment options, cash management solutions, and treasury services.

- Promote the bank's products and services to PSU clients, ensuring they are aware of all banking solutions available to them.

- Cross-sell other banking products, such as loans, insurance, and investment products, to PSU clients to maximize revenue.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies while dealing with PSU clients.

- Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting PSU clients and their industries.

- Prepare and submit regular reports on client acquisition, revenue generation, and client satisfaction to senior management.

Qualifications:

- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Additional certifications in banking or finance are desirable.

- Experience in acquiring and managing PSU clients in the banking or financial services industry.

- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.

- Sound financial acumen with a good understanding of banking products and services.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and internal stakeholders.

- Strong negotiation skills to close deals and manage client expectations.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
