We seek a Senior Regional Sales Director who will develop and manage key strategic channels and direct customers for my client in Chennai & Hyderabad. The main target is to grow my clients market share by selling products and services to the regions. The candidate will report directly to the Country Head (India) and will be based out of Chennai (travel as necessary).
Responsibilities:
- Direct sales to enterprises / end-user organizations
- Proactively recruit new qualified partners based on need.
- Sell through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources
- Coordinate the involvement of company personnel in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners- expectations
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate partner needs on an ongoing basis
- Update activities and status of opportunities in CRM
- Meet assigned targets for sales volume and strategic objectives in territory
- Achieve revenue goals for region
Requirements:
- At least 8 years of Enterprise Software Sales Experience
- At least 4 years of sales experience in Chennai & Hyderabad regions
- Experience in Security Domain would be a plus
- A strong understanding of the software sales process and Channel Sales
- Experience in working with partners in Chennai & Hyderabad is a plus
- Master degree in Business, Sales or Marketing is preferred
- Experience with enterprise software solutions and large, complex organizations.
- Experience in selling to End Users
- Self-motivated, learning skills, independent, knows how to take project from a-z
- Excellent presentation and phone & email communications skills
