Job Description/Role Overview :

This role is primarily responsible for Health Care domain consulting in the area of process re-engineering.

This will be a client interfacing role and would demand candidate to possess excellent client relationship management skills, communication skills, stakeholder management apart from hands on experience of consulting clients on process re-engineering.

Consultants in the RE team are required to be highly mobile and deliver significant end-to-end improvements on strategic and operational projects.

Brief Job Description :

- Conducts business assessments and discovery to identify top focus areas for clients.

- Lead and participate in high impact re-engineering projects emerging out of discovery assessments or otherwise.

- Be able to lead and drive Discover - Design - Deploy lifecycle of re-engineering projects

- Set up priorities for process improvements across re-engineering assignments.

- Ensures that re-engineering objectives, specific goals, measures, and metrics are established

- Adopt, leverage and build re-engineering methodologies and tools to deliver results

- Works closely with clients, stakeholders and cross functional teams plan and lead projects

- Ensure timely project communication at all levels of stakeholders and the business organization as appropriate.

- Providing thought leadership to the project team

- Understanding Corporate score card and critical organizational level financial metrics

- Developing strategic insights and recommendations on the basis of the research conducted

- Communicates key lessons learned and best practices from process re-engineering projects and develop case studies to be utilized as re-engineering collaterals.

- Stays up to date in the application of process improvement tools and techniques and relevant benchmarking data for related organizations

- Be able to Train, Coach and Mentor re-engineering team members, client resources on improvement techniques, methodologies and approaches

- Share Best practices from within and outside the organization / industry / domain and provide recommendations for implementing them

- Lead / generate opportunities through cross-sell or up-sell of re-engineering services to existing and new clients.

- Collaborate with senior leadership in organization-building activities such as response to RFP/ RFI and growing client accounts, etc.

- Grow up to take ownership of re-engineering towers / verticals within the process re-engineering function.

Qualification/Technical Skills :

- Mastery of Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies including DMAIC, Excellent project management skills situations that involve cross functional stakeholders and challenges such as scope creep, cultural barriers, tight time lines

- Excellent analytical skills, Review and provide direction on projects/programs using Lean Six Sigma principles and statistics

- Should be able to guide team in content development for training and other awareness programs

- Relevant experience in effectively leading and mentoring Black Belt Projects, Organization wide BPMS, Lean deployment

- Understanding of Financial metrics, calculations and alignment to organization metrics

- Strong analytical skills and problem solving approach

- Ability to identify and deliver new ideas to address key business issues & proactively keep their specialist skills and knowledge at leading edge standard

- Self-motivated. Ability to define, structure and prioritize work for self

- Communication and persuasion skills with the ability to think quickly and package ideas Process Specific Skills

- Must have both a strong experience in deploying Lean/Six Sigma in one or more of the following industry areas as well as subject matter expertise in one of the core business processes

- Health Care payer or provider experience preferred

- Extensive Contact Center experience or Information Technology Projects experience

- Understanding and experience of managing operational risks and controls

- Understanding of and exposure to project management disciplines and techniques Soft skills

-- Should be able to manage a team of 3-4 consultants in future.

- Demonstrated ability to effectively coach and mentor champions, process owners (client and internal staff)

- Excellent change management skills, Excellent written and spoken communication skills

Education Requirements :

MBA, ( with analytical background like Engineering preferred) : Experience ranging from 7-10 years ( with MBA/Engineering) with operations strategy/ line management roles in financial institutions, consulting or technology companies or program / change management roles in other industries or Post Graduate / Graduates with Experience ranging from 7- 10 years with HealthCare operations or line management roles in technology companies or program / change management roles.
