Senior Project Manager - Software Development

Senior Project Manager with Japanese Language skills (JLPT N2 above) for Rakuten, Bangalore

- Assigned to software development projects and/or service enhancements as project manager.

- Be engaged in a whole process of development project (requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing/verification, deployment, operation/maintenance) as project manager.

- Work closely with stakeholders in Japan to align with business plan.

- Work closely with tech lead and other engineers to achieve project outcomes. Some of them are in different locations such as Japan and Singapore, and you need to communicate with them in English/Japanese.

- Understand business needs and user behavior, and develop solutions to those needs.

- Capture improvement points based on our KPIs and create/execute an improvement plan.

- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our services/systems, and propose service/system improvements.

- Guide and support less-experienced members as mentor and role model to improve the team productivity and achieve team's goals together.

Must-Have:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project and product managements JLPT N2 or Above

- Experience of defining both functional and non-functional requirements

- Experience of making a hypothesis and verifying it to solve business issues.

- Project planning and execution experience

- Experience of software development
