Position: Project Manager/Sr Project Manager
Location: Mumbai

Job Description:
The Project Manager/Sr Project Manager would oversee multiple projects and must have in-depth knowledge and experience across the entire project lifecycle. S/he must have an in-depth understanding of the Public sector procurements such as Consultancy services, vendor procurement for Civil works, Goods, Non-Consulting services and Public-Private Partnerships.
- Create, analyze, negotiate, and execute an array of projects for various transactions
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, clients, and other business connections
- Maintain project-related documents and correspondence from start of the project to its end
- Present project information to relevant parties, such as client and other stakeholders in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot project-related problems, such as breach of contract, arbitration, claims and variations, delay analysis and extension of time, escalation and extra items.
- Stay informed about changes to relevant rules and regulations, government compliances and norms.
- Ensure that all types of contractor billing/invoices are appropriate, consistent with the terms of the contract, and are recommended for payment after prompt scrutiny
- Effectively and pro-actively manage, control and report the planning and scheduling activities.
- Preparation of Detailed Project Micro Schedule, Project Budget and cash Flow monitoring.
- Preparation and approval of SOP as per BOQ and client quality policy.
- Coordination with Architect, consultant and other project stake holder about design and detail.
- Quantity and cost analysis and monitoring.
- Analyze drawings, specifications and statements of work in the preparation of activity networks.
- Preparation and management of Development Strategy reports, Daily, Weekly & Monthly
- Status reports, Project Review and Monitoring reports.
- Preparation of work approval and raise material requisition.
- Verify progress and performance against plan, identify areas of potential schedule overrun requiring corrective action, and forecast.
- Manage, preparation and implementation of Detailed Recovery Schedule from the contractor.
- Validating and preparation of change order, site directive as per variations or change in scope.
- Review Contractor's schedules for compliance and monthly performance measures
- Negotiating well with the suppliers to arrange the timely and consistent supply of materials
- Liaison with Government authorities for Approvals and Compliances mandatory
Qualification and Experience:
- Graduate or post-graduate degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed institute (IIT/REC/NICMAR)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in managing Infrastructure projects
- Must have experience in Quantity Survey, procurement, invoice management, valuations and variations claims, contract management, project controls and negotiations
- Must have worked with Government clients specially on infrastructure projects
- Good communication skills
