ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
The Project Manager is responsible for project delivery against formalized customer commitments
1. Manages the project team and project budget
2. Project planning, resourcing, utilization and tracking
3. Trade-off management and issue/conflict resolution
4. Team building/ energizing
5. Client commitments which impact delivery (functionality, schedules, resources) need explicit approval from the project manager
6. Major project issues and constraints are escalated in a timely manager to the Delivery Manager
7. Ensure that projects are created in timesheets are authenticated, metrics are tracked and projects are closed
8. Manage On time/ budget Deliverables (zero effort/ schedule overruns) , change requests are managed effectively
9. Manage quality of deliverables
10. Manage quality of documentation
11. Manage resource Utilization
12. Risk assessment and mitigation
13. Customer Satisfaction - various cross functional departments
14. Added value to the organization through learning, best practices and re-usable components
15. Team member assessment and development, coaching and guiding team members on project management processes
16. Setting up/Improving Project management process , PMO and ensuring its followed by vendors and teams
17. Supporting process compliance for all projects
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS :
18. Auditing all process elements in the QMS at the end of each phase of the project
19. Publishing project-wise metrics on weekly basis
- Required productivity, cost, service and uptime result, and interface with customers/internal departments.
- B.E. / B. Tech. in Computer Science / Information Technology.
