Senior Project Manager - Global Delivery Centre

Job Description :

We is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its growing Professional Services team in Delhi, which is a center for Global Delivery.

- Working in a highly collaborative environment you will directly manage Customer engagements in Asia and be responsible for delivering solutions on a wide variety of platforms and devices.

Objective of role :

- Responsible for project management from initiation, planning to execution, controlling, closing of solutions to customers in APAC.

- This includes direct customer/ supplier interfacing as well as managing project delivery teams.

Main Tasks :

- Leading Professional Services engagement in APAC

- Direct management of customer projects, from initiation through to closure

- Single point of contact for customer, supplier and delivery team escalations

- Direct management of project delivery teams, covering engineering and quality assurance

- Responsible for project governance, change management, financial control and reporting to key internal stakeholders

- Adhering to delivery best practices and supporting the on-going improvement of delivery processes

- Representing organisation through on-site customer visits in APAC

Role Requirements :

- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related discipline

- Seasoned project management professional with 8+ years- experience managing multiple consumer software projects concurrently

- Proven track record managing concurrent Customer projects with full responsibility for delivery governance and financial control

- Hands on experience managing local and remote software development teams, providing leadership and direction across multiple project engagements

- Well versed in modern project management methodologies and software development processes (practical exposure to Agile is mandatory), PMP or relevant certification is required

- Experience delivering solutions for Smart TV, mobile platforms, games consoles or other connected devices is a plus

- Strong Customer focus, excellent English communication skills and the ability to operate independently is essential
