Senior Program Officer - GSK
Reports to: Chief Program Officer
Location: Amravati/Vijayawada, A.P.
Duration of contract: 2.5 years
Responsibilities:As the head of the GSK vertical, the Sr. Program Officer, GSKs shall lead a dynamic team and be responsible for the following:
i. Contributing to the design of the GSK architecture
ii. Selecting a basket of services for last mile service delivery through GSKs, duly considering the viability of the GSK operator
iii. Leading the roll-out of the 927Giri Seva Kendras across the ITDAs in the State
iv. Managing the day-to-day GSK operations
v. Liaising with over 20 stakeholder institutions including various government departments, banks, NGOs/CBOs etc.
vi. Identifying the gaps in the existing processes and re-engineering them for improved service delivery through GSKs
vii. Facilitating the identification of Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) in coordination with SERP
viii. Facilitating the identification of training needs of the VLEs
ix. Overseeing the design and operationalization of the Training and Capacity Building plan for the Village Level Entrepreneurs
x. Establish Market linkages to promote local entrepreneurship and strive to make the project self-sustained over the next 2-3 years.
Any other tasks entrusted, as relevant to the implementation of the programme.
Candidate Profile:
Experience: At least 10 years project management experience of which at least the last 7 years should be in managing large scale projects in the government sector/public sector/development sector
Education: MBA or equivalent from top tier institutions (IIMs, ISB, IITs, XLRI, SPJIMS, IRMA, XIMB etc.) or MCA/Masters in Technology or equivalent from a reputed University/Institution. In exceptional cases, Bachelor's Degree in Technology or equivalent shall also be considered.

ii. Demonstrated experience in using technology for enabling inclusion
iii. Experience of working with the Common Service Centres model of public service delivery will be an advantage
iv. Experience managing a team of 3-5 members
v. Advanced analytical skills

vii. Well versed with the eGovernance Systems
viii. Patient and comfortable working in a complex environment
ix. Strong commitment to collaborative work
x. Written/Spoken knowledge of Telugu will be an advantage
xi. An ear to the ground
xii. Demonstrated Problem solving / Solution centric approach towards diagnosed issues/challenges
