Senior Program Manager for an Agriculture Startup

- Build and maintain a thorough understanding of the agricultural landscape, keys trends in this space, new and existing policies and the gaps in the ecosystem in order to identify strategic opportunities for the growth of the organization

Program Management :

- He/she will be involved in all aspects of program management including planning, budgeting, launching pilot projects, monitoring and evaluation, documentation and knowledge management, qualitative and quantitative analysis, reporting and implementation

Partnerships and Stakeholder Management :

- Identify, build and maintain partnerships with NGOs, ag-tech entrepreneurs, academicians, researchers and other foundations in the field with expertise and capabilities in building and scaling interventions and innovations in agriculture

- Engage with government stakeholders at different levels and provide support in conceptualizing and implementing quality interventions.

- He/she will also have to provide technical assistance to senior government stakeholders and the work may involve conducting research and writing policy-related notes or concept papers

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities :

- MBA /PGDBM /Agri-Business Management/ Rural Management from premier institutes

- Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Ability to effectively engage and liaison with multiple stakeholders

- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to lead meetings and represent to external audiences

- Strong planning and organizational skills, and an ability to be able to set priorities, plan timelines and meet deadlines

- Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to lead the team in research, documentation, management and execution of multiple projects and proposals at the same time
