Senior Product Manager - Pricing & Promotions

There are three main objectives of Pricing and Promotions Platform

Price Efficiency and Automation : We aim to completely automate product pricing which can solve for growth and profitability both. This needs deep understanding of customer behaviours ( e.g. demand elasticity) and businesses( e.g. it grocery, lifestyle , electronics and more). This employs deep Data Sciences and Analytics investment backed by strong platforms which can help us take off manual intervention from product and services pricing

Price Perception & Leadership: We want to make  "THE" Destination for customers when they think of shopping platform which provides best value for their buck. Understanding how customers perceive value, how competitive pricing plays out and what is role of value communication in achieving our objective are key investment areas in this space

Customer Engagement through promotions : We aspire to build Industry leading promotion and offer levers which can create tremendous value for customers and make it as most engaging shopping platform in India. Constructs like product exchange, targeted offers, Basket building are few of the constructs which enable us to deliver this value to customers.

And, we aspire to achieve all this not just   for any ecommerce player in the world who can use our robust platforms to achieve value leadership with healthy PnL in their market and geography.

For the charter you lead, you will

- Own the strategy and roadmap for a key product/business area.

- Manage all aspects of a successful software or technology product throughout its lifecycle,

- Including product strategy development, customer insights/needs, and requirements definition

- Partner with the other business leaders to define and drive substantial parts of the customer experience for the respective categories.

- Defines the product acceptance testing criteria, ensures that they are met; plan for and ensures that product (and features) are appropriately used by operations and BD team; Promptly resolves issues faced during operationalization by working with different stakeholders

- Hires the right people, build a high performing teams and act as a trusted adviser, coach or a guide.

- A deep understanding of consumer behaviour which will support product delivery from concept to implementation.

- Equally comfortable in generating a 3-year strategic vision and a weekly status update.
