Senior Product Manager (Messaging)

Responsibilities :

- Lead our messaging products (SMS, MMS, RCS, Whatsapp & more)

- Analyze customer needs, market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build vs. buy perspective

- Synthesize and drive product strategy from interactions with customers, business stakeholders, legal and policy teams; Build and manage an actionable product roadmap

- Create business cases outlining projected impact for each initiative to be prioritized on the roadmap; Manage the entire product line's life cycle from strategic planning to Go-to-market activities; Provide rollout status & monitor impact of each initiative launched

- Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap, requirements, development, launch and adoption

- Write detailed product requirements and end to end use cases with effective user stories to be used by engineering & design teams. Refine product backlog

- Mentoring team members for success in the PM role, reviewing their work, and evaluating employee performance

Expected Skills / Experience :

- 3-5 years in software product management with a consistent record of timely and quality delivery of software products; Overall 4-8 years of experience

- Deep understanding of one or more messaging channels like SMS, MMS, RCS, Whatsapp

- Experience in managing B2B SaaS products and /or one of more of the following: Marketing automation, Data-science, AI/ML, personalization is preferred

- Basic understanding of software-technologies, APIs, computer networks, software-architecture

- Creates clear & detailed low-fi or high-fi mock-ups using Balsamiq, Figma or other tools

- Experience on Product Management tools like JIRA, Confluence

- High bias for action with demonstrable history of identifying and resolving cross-project interdependencies

- Data Driven with proficiency on data querying and analysis; Experience with tools like SQL, Excel, Tableau, Qlikview etc. is preferred

Minimum Product Management Exp : 4 Years

- Experience working in SMS, MMS, Whatsapp messages is a MUST

Notice Period : 30 - 45 Days

Shortlisting Criteria -

1. Understanding integration with SMS providers like Gupshup, Infobip, Twilio, Sinch

2. Understanding of SMS regulatory asks for US/EU/India (CTIA (US), TRAI (India))

3. Experience in other communication platforms like RCS, whatsapp..
