Looking for Sr. Product manager for a Product MNC
Key Areas of Responsibility :
- Execute new product/release initiatives that are aligned with the customer vertical(s).
- Analyze and review current product performance to reveal opportunities for improvement or enhancement
- Identify strengths and weaknesses of product offering and provide recommendations to achieve company goals
- Be the champion of the customer vertical(s), empathize with customers deeply to be able to translate behavior into market stories and product requirements.
- Organize product and integration requirements into a cohesive product plan and communicate to senior leadership.
- Responsible to discover sub segments in the customer vertical, build business cases and understand the product's positioning.
- Responsible for executing processes, methodologies and tools for release initiation, productization and operations readiness.
- Responsible for taking custody of all product/release adoption reviews and feedback from identified customer vertical.
- Responsible to ensure complete understanding of the current marketing mix (7Ps includes pricing and total cost of ownership) and provide recommendations for potential corrections/changes.
- Help in triaging and addressing issues in production.
- Liase with product documentation team to deliver user manuals for the product.
- Provide GTM and marketing support for product sales.
- Enable sales function with market stories and product functionality.
- Responsible for driving marketing research to quantify and qualify the target market's size and growth, customer needs, competitive landscape and product direction.
- Provide analysis and recommendations to the CPMO on the future state of product offering, integrating the voice of the customer and market analysis to prioritize product direction.
- Lead and nurture a team of product managers, implement development programs to ensure team members skill sets are upgraded appropriately.
Educational Qualification :
- Bachelor's degree required.
- MBA from a premier institute will be an additional advantage.
Experience & Attributes :
- A minimum of 10-12 years in software products industry.
- 4+ years of product management experience, at least 2 of which in the B2B software industry.
- Capacity to - own- one or more customer verticals and know what that means building strategy, monitoring KPIs, leading task forces, hands-on- blocking and tackling where necessary.
- A strong enquiry-based approach that will allow you to get past assumptions, understand essential metrics needed to solve a problem and an ability to use this to learn rapidly in areas where you have limited knowledge.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure.
- Ability to build fruitful relationships and navigate cross functional teams towards achieving results
