Senior Process Data Analyst - Chemical Process - Cement Industry

Education & Exp :

BE/BTech/MTech with Minimum 5 years of total experience, with special focus on data collection and analysis, database formulations and simulation techniques preferably from cement industry.

Required Skill:

- Data management, preferably with plant experience

- Data analysis

- Synthesis of conclusions and implications

- Knowledge of unit operations, control engineering and chemical process engineering will be advantage

- Knowledge and skills within MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visual Basic), MS SharePoint and process simulation tools

- Good Analytical skills

- Work independently as well as in cross-functional teams

- Positive and responsible/pro-active attitude

- Open-minded and takes on international challenges with passion

- Develops relationships globally

- Good team player

- Ability to co-operate well (Internal / External)

- Feels comfortable working with the global centres (Denmark and USA)

Job Responsibility :

- Exposure to data analysis and classification

- Create a structure for a global database

- Compile data from existing sources, primarily through on-line control systems and reports , Work closely together with the global (US and DK) process specialist teams to get the requirements on what is needed from the data collection and analysis

- Analyze the data with a critical eye and draw conclusions in close coordination with process engineers

- Come up with recommendations and observations to develop our processes and rules in the future

- Set up and maintain a solution for effective data management system

- Performing process design calculations including mass and heat balances will be an added advantage

- Broad contact network: Global team of process engineers, Product Line Management, R&D, Automation

- Develop standard tools for process engineering calculations

- Provide input and take part in developing further our products and processes with respect to tools and simulations
