Role & Responsibilities :

- Passionate about automating end to end testing including frontend/backend applications.

- Being Comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment

- Ability to use wide variety of open source/commercial and in house tools and technology

- Complete ownership of Quality and timeliness of Delivery

- Hands on Approach for defining automation strategy which will improve productivity.

- Partner with Offshore and Onsite Stakeholders to identify testing strategy

- Creation of test plans and test cases based on business requirements, functional and technical specifications, and development standards for projects.

- Provide Realistic time estimates for test planning and execution

- Execution of test plans in accordance with the project schedule

- Maintain existing test plans and test cases based on code changes and enhancements.

- Track issues and work with project managers and development team to resolve issues.

- Participate in JIRA review meetings during test cycles.

- Participate in project health checks.

- Use QA standard test document templates and methodology

Mind Set Required :

- 8-15 years overall experience in Capital market domain or similar with 3 years plus in Automation testing (Engineer)

- 5+ hands on experience working on QA Automation Framework/solutions designing and Implementation

- Agile Software Development Experience and preferably scrum

- Exposure to Dev Ops and Continuous Integrations tools like Jenkins

- Experience working with source control/defect tracking and continuous integration Tools.

- Good in Linux/Unix and proficiency in traditional RDBMS

- Strong Test Design Skills, Test Automation and Analysis

- Excellent knowledge in QA process, Strategize and able to communicate with Senior Management

- Excellent analytical and communication skills.

- Script development experience of Test Automation tools, preferably QTP/Selenium/Test Complete etc.

- Hands-on experience of using Test Management tool, preferably Quality Center/Zephyr.

- Experience in performance testing Tools like performance Center and Jmeter will be preferred.

- Experience in API and Rest Service Testing will be preferred.

- Experience in Programming language such as Java, C# and Python will be preferred
