Senior Planner - Retail

As the Lead Planner you will play a key role in driving the success of our retail operations through effective planning and execution strategies. You will be responsible for analyzing sales trends, forecasting demand, and developing inventory plans to ensure optimal product availability while minimizing excess inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Analysis: Analyze historical sales data and current market trends to identify patterns and forecast future demand for products across different categories.

Inventory Management: Develop inventory plans and strategies to maintain optimal stock levels, balancing between demand forecasts, lead times, and budget constraints.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including merchandising, purchasing, and logistics to align inventory plans with business objectives and ensure seamless execution.

Seasonal Planning: Lead the seasonal planning process, including assortment planning, promotional strategies, and inventory allocation to maximize sales opportunities and minimize markdowns.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, inventory turnover, and gross margin, and take proactive measures to address any deviations from targets.

Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules, ensuring timely and cost-effective replenishment of inventory.
