Senior Packaging Development Lead - FMCG

Key Responsibilities

1. Innovation Projects: Project lead and delivery responsibility for all consumer and customer-facing projects:

a. Coordinate development of packaging in line with customer preferences and desired quality in close coordination with SC, suppliers, Marketing, QA and Operations

b. Encompasses packaging structure and material recommendation and validation, cost optimization, aesthetics recommendation

c. Responsible for project execution in line with best practices; Manage expectations of key stake holders in project team by providing regular feedback on project progress.

2. Drive profitability through key cost optimization projects - deliver cost targets by identifying and executing potential areas of saving

3. Set up and implement best practices and key packaging SOPs and knowledge management systems

4. Cross-functional interface: Effectively interface with stakeholders from Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain and QA

5. Identifying and developing latest technology in the field of packaging material / system

6. Support for handling packaging complaints and implementation of best practices including support to QA team

7. Training and development of Junior packaging executive/s
