Senior Oracle Finance Consultant

Position: Senior Oracle Finance Consultant

Qualifications/ Experience:

i. Minimum of 10 Years' Experience working for Oracle Financials.

ii. In-depth working knowledge of at least three Oracle Financials modules.

iii. Oracle Apex experience is an added advantage.

iv. Highly skilled in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle OAF, Oracle Workflow and Oracle Discoverer.

v. Highly skilled at all stages of the system development life cycle.

vi. Proven skills as a team member/team-lead during all stages of the Project, on at least 3-5 EBS implementation.

vii. Preferred to be skilled in Java Programming.

viii. Has good Knowledge of Project Management tools such as MS Project, Prince2 etc.

ix. Manage and complete system development assignments of varying complexity and size and be able to control the scope and schedule to ensure successful implementation.

x. Provide guidance to development teams on the implementation of new and existing standards, technologies, tools, services, and practices.

xi. Understand business requirements and be able to prepare design documents for new enhancements/projects.

xii. Conduct detailed analysis of the user's business requirements and ascertain whether these can be met within Oracle Financials standard features or require the development of Custom extensions.

xiii. Propose solutions and approaches to meet the user's business requirements with a view towards avoiding customization, as far as possible.

xiv. Participate in set-up and testing of Oracle Financials seeded functionality.

xv. Develop necessary PL/SQL program units, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports or Oracle OAF pages.

xvi. Develop necessary integration procedures/processes for integrating Oracle Financials with other Corporate or Custom developed applications.

xvii. Diagnose and resolve issues arising from the use of Oracle Financials seeded or Custom functionality.

xviii. Perform data migration from legacy systems, if required.

xix. Perform simple to complex data extractions as per the requirements of Business users.

xx. Prepare UAT scripts and the Test Environment for UAT.

xxi. Develop Training Manuals for seeded/custom functionality and conduct user education and training sessions.

xxii. Prepare and setup the Production environment for go-live of tested and accepted solutions.

xxiii. Participate in all activities related to the Oracle Financials upgrades.

xxiv. Contact and follow-up with Oracle Support through their Support website, for any issues or bugs related to the Oracle Financials Application.

xviii. Produce documentation as per Oracle AIM standards, after receiving confirmation for go-live from the concerned User Team. Support any user issues arising from their use of Oracle Discoverer (or similar tool), Web ADI, Projects Wizard & GL Wand.
