Senior Options Trader - BFSI

I would like to inform that I am currently working on a Senior level requirement of Option Trader role (Sr. Grade)

JD-

The role is responsible for

- Trading options (domestic and/or international) in order to generate high returns with efficiency

- Managing/mentoring other Option traders on the desk

- Strategizing the expansion of Options Trading to newer geographies/assets primarily in the western hemisphere

Key Responsibilities

Managerial Responsibilities

- Training resources on relevant functional areas

- Engaging with the team on an on-going basis for ensuring right allocation of work, high morale and performance.

- Overseeing the operations & output the team

- Coordinating with India head on an ongoing basis

Functional Responsibilities

- Responsible for monitoring execution, liaising for growth in products and markets and achieving mark-to-market (MTM) targets

- To evaluate opportunities that the market throws up and doing sizing of risks in those opportunities

- Developing new products & disseminating that knowledge to the team

- Making statistical tools that helps traders analyze opportunities across markets

- Analyzing sizes of OTC markets and tapping into their potential through relationship with brokers

- Analyzing concentration of risk across instruments and taking the decision to move to a new instrument if excessive risk is found related to an instrument.

Job Requirements

Experience

4+ years of experience in trading, preferably an exposure to Options Trading

Functional Competencies

- Detailed knowledge of Options trading.

- Ability to analyze data (qualitative & quantitative) quickly

- Mathematical skills - statistics, derivatives (ability to use mathematical tools, evaluate the output resulting from such mathematical operations and being able to understand their applicability to the practical scenario at hand)
