Designation Senior Officer - Taxation Location Mumbai

Desired candidate profile:

Qualifications : CA, CA-Inter, BCOM, MCOM, Law Degree

Experience: 6 -7 Years plus in a middle to large sized Company

Key Deliverable:

This role holder is a part of the finance and accounts function and supports the Senior Manager - Taxation & CS. His responsibilities would be :

- Ensure completion of VAT audits in multiple states

- Ensuring Excise Compliance at the Plant and Depot level and Liasioning with Department of excise & service tax queries and complete EA Audits and Service Tax Audit.

- Tracking the receipt of C forms from customers and issuance of C Forms to Vendors for supplies affected

- Filing of Excise Returns across states

- Ensure filing of service tax returns and preparation of input service distribution invoices

- Knowledge of GST framework and proposed laws

- Strong domain knowledge - Indirect ( VAT, Excise, Customs and Service Tax )

- Orientation towards controls and control systems, with - Enabling- mindset- (approachability)

- SAP exposure as an ERP user / project person, especially FICO

- Commercial savviness - understanding of how accounting decisions impact business in Top-line / bottom-line terms

- Ability to understand the macro/industry implications - relevant for Governance role

- Business Finance acumen- ability to partner business

- Current Hands on experience on SAP R3 FICO Module
