Role Objective
The Senior Measurement Scientist will lead and support development of new products which would include measurement of media consumption and the effectiveness of advertising across TV and Digital (online, mobile) platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Leading or assisting in the development of innovative sampling design and analysis procedures, including sample power calculations and sample frame construction.
- Developing and validating weighting methodologies, imputation, outlier detection, and bootstrap approaches for variance calculations.
- Applying standard statistical and/or data management software package(s) to execute data processing and data analysis methodologies.
- Assisting with training and mentoring of colleagues, and participate in appropriate professional development and scientific stature activities, including publications, presentations, and independent research.
- Working on cutting-edge machine learning techniques, Time series models, and Big Data Analytics
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D in statistics, mathematics, or social sciences with a strong quantitative focus.
- Expertise in at least one statistical language such as R, Stata, SAS, or SPSS.
- Hands-on experience working with large datasets.
- Experience with a database querying language such as SQL
