Senior Manager - US Tax - BFS

Looking for Sr. Manager / Associate Director US Taxation for Financial Services client based in Hyderabad location.

- Managing the corporate direct & indirect tax compliance, reporting and accounting processes across multiple countries

- Maintains timely preparation and submission of quarterly income tax provision.

- Effectively reviewing all deliverables of other staff members

- Responsible for timely preparation and eventual filing of various Direct & Indirect tax returns and document retention and electronic archiving of the various Tax deliverables.

- Proactively reviewing and analyzing the procedures and develop best practice standards, providing high quality and timely Direct & Indirect Tax return and Tax Provisioning services.

- Monitoring and proactively follow-up on the progress of the activities being completed by teams outside of the GBS structure.

- 10+ years of experience in Income Tax Provision (preferably US GAAP ASC 740) and VAT

- Strong knowledge and understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

- Proficient in Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM Tools such as FCC, ARCS and TRCS, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook) and Alteryx (preferred) or similar and equivalent tax applications

- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

- Structured, disciplined approach to work with attention to details

- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and flexible to deliver amid uncertainty (e.g., imperfect data, loosely defined concepts, changing priorities)

- Highly organized multi-tasker and self-motivated; capable of working under limited or no supervision

- Ability to assimilate information from multiple sources, identify or develop solutions and then implement them

- Positive and constructive team player with good communication (verbal/written) and inter-personal skills.
