Looking forward for a suitable candidate for the position of Senior Manager - Treasury Desk.

JD:-

The Treasury BG has a strong internal Business Risk team. The team manages all the risks - financial, operational & compliance relating risks for the SBG. We take pride in our superior risk management culture and truly believe ourselves to be the best when it comes to managing risk.

Job Purpose

- This role is responsible for handling the entire trade lifecycle of a Structured Product once the trade is executed in the markets by the Trading team.

- The role will act as a single point of contact servicing all the internal stake holders i.e. Trading Team, Sales Team ,Compliance, Risk, Finance, Client servicing for this product and external stake holders like Regulators (SEBI, RBI), Depositories, Exchanges, Rating agencies and Registrar & Transfer Agents.

- This role is responsible for managing daily operational activities including compliance and risk reporting for the structured products operation desk.

- The responsibility of this position is to manage UAT and Projects deliverables as per agreed time frame and with 100% accuracy.

- Periodic Reports and letters to the client and distributors & quick response to the client's queries.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure smooth functioning of the daily BAU and operations with timely and accurate reporting. Capable of handling entire lifecycle of trades.

- Handling queries from various clients and distributors in quick TAT.

- Detail new projects and development to the developers

- Ensure cross-training and complete backups for each processes and activities



- Ensuring Reconciliations are done at regular intervals and error free.

Functional Responsibilities

- Ensure that all activities of the operations are being performed as per agreed procedures and practices.

- Timely and accurate reporting to Regulator, Exchange and external clients.

- Handle audit queries and provide data required from internal and external auditors (RBI auditors)

- Ensure timely escalation and resolution of any identified issues

- Proactively look for opportunities to improve process, system and close control gaps

- Partner with Technology for systems enhancement and projects within prescribed timelines

- Provide monthly, quarterly & yearend data to the various stakeholders of structured product desk

- Ensure all the process documents are complete and valid at all times

Qualifications :- B.Com / M.Com / MBA

Experience :- 3 -7 years

Functional Competencies

- Sound understanding of operations for a fixed income or debt trading desk with multiple stake holders to manage

- Sound understanding of debt / fixed income product

- Good understanding of controls across the trade life cycle of instruments

- Understanding of clearing and payment mechanisms, systems and market practices

- Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
