Key Responsibilities:
- Proven knowledge in compensation and benefits functions; manage the design and implementation of a competitive compensation and benefits policy for India in accordance with Company objectives
- Make proposals to Senior Management & Global Rewards regarding implications of proposed total rewards plans, suggest contingency plans/trade-offs for mitigating risks. Liaise and consult with them to establish policies and centralized processes.
- Regularly interact with senior level management; negotiate and influence tem with appropriate data based arguments.
- Consult with and provide advice to managers/HR Business Partners on Compensation and Benefits issues (e.g. the salary revision process). Aligns them to the Compensation & Benefits philosophy, policies and practices.
- Communicate with other HR functions, managers and employees on Reward issues for existing and changing policies.
- Ensure constant monitoring, evaluating and benchmarking of Reward policies and practices to maintain competitiveness.
- Conduct salary surveys and liaise with the survey providers throughout the year for updates and additional information. Create and regularly update salary tables to support the broadband leveling system within the company.
- Manage, design and maintain Benefits programs and tax efficient remuneration packages.
- Support compensation and benefits due diligence and transition during acquisitions and divestitures.
- Keep up to date with relevant laws, legislative changes, best practice trends and developments in the industry to enhance personal development.
- Develop relationship of co-operation and knowledge sharing with Global and Regional Total Rewards teams.
- Interface with Payroll, Accounts, HR Direct, Recruitment and other relevant functions in relation to queries, as well as to ensure good working relationships and compliance with their processes.
- Partner within the team and support strategic decisions that will have a long term impact on company overall success; able to negotiate difficult matters to influence policy making; provides business partnering leadership for the organization's business groups; is viewed as an expert company-wide.
