Job Description :

- Accountability for E2EAPAC Indirect tax compliance activities for several countries in Asia Pac ( i.e. Value Added Tax or Goods and Services Tax).

- Ensure compliance obligations are filed on time.

- Responsible for audit related queries for the above mentioned jurisdictions - these could be audits by tax authorities, SOX audits, internal audits or statutory audits.

- Analysis of new process or business scenarios and their viability from an APAC Indirect tax perspective.

- Review SOX controls on a regular basis to detect & report control failures, if any, and take mitigation steps

- Solves a broad range of tax (VAT/GST) related issues and provides advice on tax matters of varying scope and complexity to internal business partners

- Support of process-specific or enterprise-wide projects and initiatives to ensure a compliant implementation.

- Participates in the design and leads the delivery of tax projects within their area of expertise - APAC Compliance.

- Monitoring of legislative changes for the in scope jurisdictions - including proactive communication and advice of the consequences to business partners.

- Provides trainings to front-end functions/businesses in the areas of expertise - APAC Compliance.

- Participation in the implementation of legal changes within the company's system architecture.

- Frequent interaction with colleagues outside of India business partners around the globe.

- Proven skills to manage and lead a team of tax professionals
