We are seeking a highly experienced and Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition to lead our recruitment efforts in the retail industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully attracting, selecting, and onboarding top-tier talent, specifically within the retail sector. As a Senior Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping our workforce and driving organizational success through effective talent acquisition strategies.
Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies aligned with the organization's overall goals and growth plans.
- Provide leadership and direction to the talent acquisition team, ensuring a high level of performance and collaboration.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance the recruitment process.
2. Recruitment Process Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, from workforce planning and job profiling to candidate selection and onboarding.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, set recruitment priorities, and establish clear expectations.
- Monitor and optimize recruitment metrics to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the hiring process.
3. Candidate Sourcing and Engagement:
- Utilize various sourcing methods, including networking, social media, job boards, and industry events, to attract top talent.
- Foster strong relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive and engaging experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Implement innovative strategies to enhance employer brand and attract diverse talent.
4. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Partner with senior leadership and department heads to understand business objectives and workforce requirements.
- Collaborate with HR partners, ensuring alignment between talent acquisition and broader HR initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, agencies, and educational institutions to strengthen the talent pipeline.
5. Team Development:
- Mentor and develop the talent acquisition team, providing guidance on best practices and professional growth.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that promotes continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
2. Proven experience of 10+ years in talent acquisition, with a focus on the retail industry.
3. Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies in a fast-paced environment.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. In-depth knowledge of current recruitment trends, tools, and technologies.
