This position will be responsible for overall Demand & Supply planning operations across Own, Contract manufacturing sites, 3PL domestic warehouses & Exports markets covering both the chemical and the non-chemical (equipment) Supply Chain.
The position leads a 7-member team in India.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Building integrated supply chain planning capabilities: comprehensive demand forecasting, production planning, and inventory management functions.
- Understand customer supply chain issues and implement customer-based improvements.
- Work collaboratively with Customer Service and Operations personnel to continuously improve replenishment by ensuring forecasts, net requirements, and replenishment orders are communicated and aligned with operational efficiencies.
- Establish clear metrics, aligned with global policies, to manage the planning processes and results in all areas.
- Establish procedures, based on best practices, to drive cost and service improvements that improve our internal processes and enhance our ability to serve our customers.
- Responsible for the Sales & Operations Planning process in the respective countries.
- Responsible for the development and delivery of the annual operating plan (AOP) cost and inventory and the delivery of the plant capital budget.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/PERSON PROFILE :
- Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant functional experience, with over 3 years in a team-leading role in Supply Chain.
- Broad knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures (manufacturing, logistics, planning)
- Strong leadership & managerial skills, and ability to motivate others.
- Collaboration, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Experience with ERP systems (Production & Inventory control), solid in Excel, VBA & data modeling skills.
- Certification in Data visualization & simulation with experience would be an added advantage.
