- Identification and development of new suppliers (both international and local) to support business requirement
- Understand business, demand and food safety requirements and its implications on sourcing and supplier base
- Understand and build category cost models with Cost benchmarking of ingredients in the respective international markets
- Commercial negotiations and contracting
- Manage inflation as per budgeted / targeted levels
- Closely work with planning and logistics team to ensure on time in full availability of material
- Coordinate with NPD / Marketing to ensure new product launches as per timelines at targeted costs
- Build strong relationship with suppliers for long term competitive advantage
- Identify value engineering initiatives for cost optimization
- Coordinating, planning and managing the requirements of commissaries, warehousing and logistics
- Estimate commissary production capacity and warehousing space requirement
- Identify and execute initiatives for commissary cost savings & productivity improvement, and service level improvement to stores
- Coordinate with India commissaries, suppliers and CHA to ensure timely execution of export shipments
- Support SAP (supply chain scope) implementation in the international markets
- Capability development of local execution teams and business partners for smooth commissary and logistics
