Senior Manager - Supply Chain & Logistics - Sanitary Ware

General Administration:

- Prepare, evaluate and manage the operational budgets for supply chain function.

- High inter personal skills to engage the team and drive monthly targets.

- Should balance between the organizational objectives to that of targets assigned from global supply chain.

Demand and Supply planning:

- Initiate, own and influence forecasting process (Demand & supply planning) with sales team and with key stake holders.

- Participate in the financial and inventory planning processes with local and Head quarter team.

- Analyse business trends and ratios, and identify emerging issues and opportunities.

- Work with corporate and operating management to identify and quantify potential costs and benefits.

- Identify and implement lean projects for the planning and forecasting processes.

Inventory Management and Stocking policies:

- Establish, analyse, and report inventory accuracy metrics.

- ABC (Valuation) & FMR (Frequency) formulation and systematic SKU planning

- Masterdata management - Setting up Safety stocks, MOQ and logistics offer to Indian customers.

- Supplier service level monitoring and ensuring OTIF (On time in Full) to the level of 95% to meet customer OTIF of 97% month on month.

- Lead the operational planning and control measurement over service providers.

- Maintain knowledge of current practices with distribution systems and benchmark. operational effectiveness, and develop best practice standards.

- Monitoring service level of Freight forwarder, CHA, and 3 PL service providers leading into total customer satisfaction.

- Reinforce the company Policies and processes and have check controls.

Imports and Customs :

- Shall be responsible for overall volume includes sea freight & air freight.

- Well verse with CTH classification and HS codes and address all queries related to customs.

- Experience in all related license's includes, SVB, ACP, AEO etc.

- Commercial and execution knowledge of special imports like, EPCG, HSS billing and SICOI.

Warehousing & Distribution:

- Shall be responsible for all warehousing norms and dealt with large set up's of 3 PL service provider.

- Understanding towards stocking policy and on FIFO methodologies.

- Monitoring defined daily service levels and to take measures towards productivity enhancement, qualitative results with reduced costs.

- Audit management.

- Negotiation skills with multiple carrier's basis load factors and service levels.

Authority to Act:

- Coordinate department activities, including budgets, and make recommendations on expenses.

- Responsible for conducting internal and external audits.

- Develop strategic plan to manage multiple projects.

- Present projects to senior management.

Knowledge skills and abilities :

- Must be passionate in taking new roles and assignments (short term & long term) and believe in scalability.

- End to End experience and knowledge in supply chain-logistics and managing a turn over of 500 crores from supply chain perspective.

- Good communication skills both written and verbal with other functions and to all levels of management.

- Skill sets towards time management, priortization, decision making, conflict management, team building.

- Able to work independently and solution driven approach.

- Knowledge of establishing distribution and warehousing systems for different product categories in India.

- Knowledge of distribution/shipment to multiple cities within India and ability to work well with sales teams to achieve shipment targets.

- Hands on SAP required in SD, MM, MF, & PP & APO.

Eligibility:

- Post graduate preferably MBA.

- Additional qualification from any of the premium institutes in supply chain - prefered.

- Must be experienced in SAP (ECC 6.0) and APO.
