Senior Manager - Supply Chain/Logistics - Online/eCommerce

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Person will lead, build and scale all operational processes of logistics operations.

- Define, design, launch and manage fulfillment & transportation related programs within the defined region.

- Person will lead, build and scale all operational processes of logistics operations.

- Supervise the activities of personnel engaged in customer order processing, personnel responsible for inventory control, warehousing and logistics.

- Work with key stake holders across various functions to define and launch a program.

- Preparation of regular reports to management, as well as punctual delivery of results.

- Able to deal with varied stakeholders and earn their trust.

- Optimum inventory planning.

- Create a layout plan that streamlines the storage and retrieval of goods.

- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.

- Coordinate with Operation Heads and other employees regarding discrepancies and errors in the supply chain process.

- Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce.

- Comply with local laws, regulations and stat & compliance requirements.

Expertise and Qualifications :

- 6 - 10 years relevant work experience in a top tier company, driving programs or projects.

- Prior work experience with ecommerce companies like Big Basket, Grofers, Swiggy or similar under Supply Chain and Logistics will be valuable.

- Engineer/Post graduate in any field - preferably Supply Chain and Logistics.

- Proficient in standard logistics software.

- Well versed with basics of Microsoft Office.

- Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges.

- Ability to conduct detailed procedures in a time constrained environment.

- Good written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong sense of time organization and urgency.

- Able to work independently and within a team.
