Sr Manager Supply chain | Ecommerce enabler for D2C brands

As a Sr Manager Supply chain, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of products and materials through our supply chain network, initially overseeing warehouses in Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, and Kolkata, with the potential for global responsibilities in 24 months.

What you will do:

- Developing and implementing supply chain strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives in the e-commerce sector

- Collaborating with senior management to set supply chain goals and objectives

- Managing and optimising the operations of four warehouses located in Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, and Kolkata, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfilment, and delivery within the e-commerce framework

- Lead procurement efforts, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure cost- effective sourcing of materials, products, and services to support the needs of our e-commerce operations

- Overseeing inventory levels, forecasting, and demand planning to ensure optimal stock levels while minimising carrying costs in the context of e-commerce

- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and monitoring supplier performance to ensure timely and cost- effective procurement of materials and services for e-commerce operations

- Managing the transportation, warehousing, and distribution of products within the e-commerce supply chain to ensure on-time delivery to customers while minimising transportation costs

- Continuously reviewing and improving e-commerce supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and streamline operations

- Identifying and mitigating supply chain risks, including disruptions in the e-commerce supply chain, and developing contingency plans

- Leading and mentoring a team of supply chain professionals within the e-commerce sector, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve departmental goals

- Developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to e-commerce supply chain operations to assess effectiveness and drive data-driven improvements

What you need to have:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus

- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role

- Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics, inventory management, and e-commerce operations

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills

- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools

- Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team within the e- commerce context

- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach

- Industry-specific certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCMP)

- Experience in a similar role within the e-commerce industry

- Knowledge of international supply chain practices and regulations in the e- commerce sector

- Potential for Global Responsibilities
