As a Supply Chain Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of products and materials through company's supply chain network, initially overseeing warehouses in Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, and Kolkata, with the potential for global responsibilities in 24 months.

What you will do:

- Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing supply chain strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives in the e-commerce sector. Collaborating with senior management to set supply chain goals and objectives.

- Warehouse Management: Managing and optimising the operations of four warehouses located in Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, and Kolkata, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfilment, and delivery within the e-commerce framework.

- Procurement: Leading procurement efforts, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring cost-effective sourcing of materials, products, and services to support the needs of our E-commerce operations.

- Inventory Management: Overseeing inventory levels, forecasting, and demand planning to ensure optimal stock levels while minimising carrying costs in the context of e-commerce.

- Supplier Management: Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers,negotiating contracts, and monitoring supplier performance to ensure timely and cost- effective procurement of materials and services for e-commerce operations.

- Logistics and Distribution: Managing the transportation, warehousing, and distribution of products within the e-commerce supply chain to ensure on-time delivery to customers while minimising transportation costs.

- Process Optimization: Continuously reviewing and improving e-commerce supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and streamline operations.

- Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating supply chain risks, including disruptions in the e-commerce supply chain, and developing contingency plans.

- Team Leadership: Leading and mentoring a team of supply chain professionals within the e-commerce sector, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve departmental goals.

- Performance Metrics: Developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to e-commerce supply chain operations to assess effectiveness and driving data-driven improvements.

What you need to have:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.

- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.

- Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics, inventory management, and e-commerce operations.

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.

- Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team within the e-commerce context.

- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.

- Industry-specific certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCMP).

- Experience in a similar role within the e-commerce industry.

- Knowledge of international supply chain practices and regulations in the e-commerce sector.
