Sr Manager Analytics

Scope :

The role holder contributes to the success of the business by leading analytics across the organisation. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mind-set, excellent presentation skills, and a proven track record of successfully implementing data-driven strategies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's (preferable) degree in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Maths). Or other relevant and equivalent qualification.

- Proven experience of 6-8 years in roles within analytics or data science.

- Should have experience of setting up the analytics and data governance.

- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and languages.

- Experience with data visualization tools

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex analytics concepts into business insights.

- Demonstrated ability to drive change and influence decision-making through data-driven approaches

Indicative Responsibilities:

1. Analytics Strategy and Roadmap:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive analytics strategy aligned with the company's objectives.

- Create and manage the analytics roadmap, ensuring alignment with departmental goals.

2. Data Analysis and Insight Generation:

- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.

- Generate actionable insights to guide strategic decision-making across departments.

3. Data Source Identification and Integration:

- Stay informed about emerging data sources and technologies; assess their relevance to the organization's analytics needs.

- Lead efforts to integrate new data sources, ensuring data quality and accuracy.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate with departments across the organization to understand their analytics needs and provide tailored solutions.

- Work closely with data engineers, scientists, and other stakeholders to implement analytics solutions.

5. Performance Measurement and Reporting:

- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of analytics initiatives.

- Develop and deliver regular reports to communicate insights and performance to stakeholders.

6. Continuous Improvement:

- Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains through analytics.

- Stay abreast of industry best practices and incorporate them into the analytics strategy.
