Senior Manager - Sourcing - Smart City & NPI

We are looking for a SM - Sourcing Smart City & NPI for a company based at Gurgaon.

Reports to : Chief SCM Officer

Experience : 7+ Yrs in Sourcing/ Commercial domain dealing in purchase of Fiber, CEN, Wi Fi, IoT solutions etc

Principal Purpose of the Job:

Lead Sourcing of Smart City Elements, New Business:

- Establish the processes and guidelines for managing vendors for procuring smart city elements and New business as per Technical inputs.

- Competitive positioning

- Oversee the entire process of sourcing of the smart city elements & products/services:

- Understand and develop the product and service specifications in coordination with the end user

- Understand and develop O&M requirement including SLA's

- Monitor the services provided by the vendors to the end user, identify the variation and take corrective actions to address those gaps.

- Optimization of TCO

- Actively engage with the functional teams with the objective of optimizing the TCO by recommending innovative alternatives:

- Lean solutions, tailored to requirement / RFP

- Commercial modelling for lowest TCO

- Lead the process of Vendor Selection & Contract Management

- Act as the custodian of all the Vendor contracts and its management (For smart city elements &New Products):

- Conceptualize and form utlize purchasing as well as commercial terms and conditions in consultation with the stakeholders

- Define all the costs and expenses relating to procurement

- Define the SLA's and timelines for the Vendors

- Finalize the contracts in consultation with the legal department within the shortest possible time.

- Prospect, evaluate & select vendors for procurement of Opex equipments/services for the cell sites by;

- Floating RFP or RFQ to the suppliers

- Getting quotations from the suppliers

- Evaluating the quotations

- Negotiating the costs and finalization of suppliers

- Negotiate the best price with vendors for materials, supplies, equipment and services ,to ensure short &long-term service and cost objectives are met.

- Proactively engage with Functional heads on a continuous basis to seek inputs with a perspective of supporting functional and business needs ina better way.

- Promote High Degree of Governance

- Define the framework for establishing and deploying control measures with a perspective finstilling checks and balance to promote a high degree of governance.

- Regular governance with partners, stakeholders to review business, areas of improvement/support

- Define control in all SCM processes-Checks & Balances
