Position : Senior Manager - Process Design (Hub & Transport - SCM)  Location : Bangalore, India (Number of Positions - Many)  Responsibilities :  People :   - Lead a team of 3- 5 Design team members and provide effective coaching and mentor ship  - Effectively collaborates cross-functionally across various groups  - Encourages people to expose problems and stays with them to implement true solutions  - Uses continuous coaching and dialogue to empower people to solve their own problems  - Supports organizational learning  Purpose :   - Responsible for Design and Deployment of Mother Hubs (Sortation Centers), Transport Centers and Line Haul processes  - Responsible for driving next level of Quality, Reliability and Productivity at various sites within the Transportation asset  - Drive the Creation, Ownership and Improvement of Standard Work & SOPs in the assigned work area. Work closely with peers in Lean and IE to reduce cycle time and elimination of waste  - Design & Implementation of Processes and Work flows in assigned work area factoring in data and information flow with and across value chains  - Document Regulatory Compliance related aspects of Line Haul operations (Air and Surface Transport). Provide recommendations to operations based on thorough understanding of Inter and Intrastate regulations, taxes, tolls and permits requirement  - Work closely with Technology and Product teams on designing effective Transportation Management System (TMS) solution and Implementation across various nodes/sites  - Work closely with Operations, Legal team, Vendors on Implementation of End-to-End process and workflows for Cargo Insurance  - Works with Quality team to Implement effective monitoring of Standard Work adherence and initiate appropriate CAPA  - Develop and engage employees and work towards succession planning  Process :   - Encourages and practices devoting time at Gemba (work site) to understand and solve problems where they occur, with the people (operations) who deal with problems every day  - Drives Innovation within Transportation and sharp focus on Next Generation solutions  - Continuously challenge Status Quo for improvement  - Practices and teaches fundamental problem solving (PDCA) to find problems, define them, fix them and keep them from coming back  - Develops a problem-solving culture where problems are made visible and fixed at the root cause level  - Supports and leverages process for sharing best practices across assets  Desired skills and experience :  - Strong leadership experience in managing a team of high performing individuals  - Excellent communication, presentation and stake holder management skills  - Strong experience in a Process Driven environment and implementation in a world-class organization and some experience building an organization in a division or start-up company  - Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt certification is a plus  - 6-10 years of overall work experience  - Experience in ISO and related Process Standardization methodologies  - Green or Brown Field Start up experience a plus (must be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, creating structure and working in an fast-paced ever changing environment)  - BS degree or better (Industrial / Mechanical Engineering, Statistics, Production etc.)  - MBA degree is a plus
