Location : Mumbai

Reporting to : CEO

Team Structure : Multiple reportees

Relevant experience : 8-10 years

CTC : 22-25 lacs/Annum

Industry : A leading global specialty retailer of health and wellness products - including vitamins, minerals, and herbal supplement products, sports nutrition products and diet products.

Company Profile :

It has a diversified, multi-channel business model and derives revenue from product sales through company-owned retail stores, domestic and international franchise activities, third party contract manufacturing, ecommerce and corporate partnerships. Its broad and deep product mix, which is focused on premium, value-added nutritional products, is sold under a proprietary brand. It has more than 8,800 locations, of which more than 6,500 retail locations are in the United States (including 1,063 franchise and 2,258 Rite Aid franchise store-within-a-store locations) and franchise operations in more than 50 countries (including distribution centers where retail sales are made).

The franchise for the territory of India is exclusively held by a chain of premium pharmacies in the Delhi / NCR region, has recently been bought (majority control) by a leading Name. They recently picked up a majority stake in it, with around 50+ stores across Delhi and NCR region. The Group is excited about this opportunity and has built a vision to grow this platform and the brand to a level over the next five years.

Job Purpose :

Will be responsible for managing retail as a key client and develop &- execute strategies to maximise sales opportunities within that channel.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute plans for Retail sales growth from Wellness &- Sports Nutrition range.

- Design and implement schemes &- offers for Retail stores and consumers.

- Key relationship management with Retail team.

- Category management for all the stores - provide Leadership through product knowledge and expertise in nutrition Category.

- Responsible for assisting Stores in maintaining optimum stock levels for all products.-

- Look at Business Development, cross promotional activities for all stores to grow sales.

- Ensure Training and adequate information for store staff across geographies for selling products.

- Work closely with the retail team to develop Customer loyalty programs and Customer retention initiatives.

- Assists new store opening team and category heads with initial ordering, assortment planning, offer generation &- implementation.

Education & Experience :

- Graduate/PG with minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in key account management preferably in Retail (Small format retail)

- Knowledge of nutrition/wellness industry

Required Skills :

- Sales Management, Planning and Operational Skills

- Negotiation Skills and Key Account Management skills

- Ability to work in a start up like environment, maintain flexibility and meet deadlines

- Business-centric focus on understanding and translating the needs to match internal business goals and objectives.

- Maintains a proactive and positive approach to resolving conflict and or business issues.
