Desired experience: Exposure to project or account management and strategy environment in Banking or Insurance Industry

Role Summary:

- To drive sales and business objective of the Vertical through various sales channels within the company

- To ensure achievement of specific business plans through optimal coverage and penetration across all specified partner segments and channels

- To closely work with the channel heads to design sales strategies and initiatives that will cause improvement of sales performance across business

- To effectively execute strategies whilst identifying and removing roadblocks that may impede timely execution

- To provide effective data insights and guide suitable behaviour with the sales teams to align them with the overall company objectives

Key Result Areas:

1. Strategic Business Development

The role holder will have the responsibility for planning, coordinating and driving the distribution strategy for all Sales Channels and Verticals to effectively drive Pension and NPS Annuity business

2. Business Development

- Achieve pre-set business targets on ANP and the rolled-out plan for each of the channel

- To continually feed and identify new levers of growth for the Vertical and line of business

- Develop initiatives and implementation plans in conjunction with partner channels

- Ability to set high standards for self. Continuously improve own performance and meet or exceed objectives

- Provide support to senior leadership and ground level teams in terms of strategy, training and other support elements

- To plan and execute training requirements and garner mind share with ground level teams

- To establish appropriate systems and processes for teams to smoothly execute set plans

- Build and maintain solid relationship and rapport with internal stakeholders including frontline staff

3. Governance

Monitor the sales momentum on sales staff and branch level for the identified product line

- Support the review of ground level teams and provide inputs to scale up

- Design innovative and effective ways to communicate product knowledge, cascade key milestone achievements, increase visibility and ensure percolation of critical information down to the last mile

- Plan and launch cost effective yet motivating reward and remuneration structures for sales channels and personnel

- Jointly review progress and help ensure high levels of activation and productivity across various channels

- Develops strong working relationship with a wide range of stakeholders to facilitate "win-win"

4. Ensure Compliance

Ensure compliance to internal sales process & other compliance standards

- Should be process & product champion who can share best practices & knowledge within various teams

- Ensures adherence to policies and procedures to cultivate a compliance culture in the team

- Maintain and observe Company's internal control standards, implement and observe the Company's Compliance Policy, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/external auditors and external regulators. Foster a compliance culture and implement the Compliance Policy by managing compliance risk and optimizing relations with regulators

5. MIS & Reporting

Maintain required trackers & reports to be submitted to various stakeholders

- Tracking actionables and working with stakeholders to ensuring completion within timelines

- Conduct data analysis, recommend and implement corrective measures

- Adept at Excel and PowerPoint

- Insurance Background with experience in Pension and Annuity segment is a must
