SECTION 1

PURPOSE OF POSITION

This position is for Strategy, Planning & Partnerships for both Tablets & related new products. Primary responsibility is to develop, design and lead market winning Strategy. This will require thorough understanding of Market dynamics, customer requirements, evaluation of current business performance & key partnerships. It includes working cross functionally with product manager, Marketing managers and other business verticals to ensure effective execution of the programs.

SECTION 2

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

Overall responsibility of designing Strategy to improve Tablets business and successful launching of new products in new computing business.


Responsibilities areas are :

Growth Strategy

- Propose, Plan, execute External Partnerships that complement product Ecosystem & help in increased product adoption.

- Assessment of business performance and suggest the improvement opportunities

- Market assessment and industry insight to identify trend and growth areas

- Conduct competitive benchmarking to support business decisions

- Evaluate the trends of customer behavior and develop recommendations

- Develop an annual and mid-term plans for sales growth and Market share gain

- GTM for launch of New Products.

Driving Key Initiatives :

- Work on projects related to operational efficiency improvement

- Plan and implement end to end sellout platforms

- Create and implement focus channel growth plan

- Brief & support marketing teams on new model launch plans including collateral sales support materials, promotions, and retail events

Partnership and Alliances :

- Understand the customer requirements and identify potential partners

- Create a proposition to drive synergy

- Monitor sell through participate in management meetings, review plans, provide inputs to other functions as and when required, support various organizational decisions, raise issues where support of other functions is required, and seek closure

KEY RESULT AREAS :

- To work out Annual Business Plan for the Tablets and related New products.

- Initiatives with measurable KPIs and ensure its achievement

Possesses broad knowledge of the organization and industry, as well as external influencing forces, such as the economy, demographics, competitor activity, new technologies, trends and regulations

Operationalizes strategies, goals and objectives for areas of responsibility into goals and plans.

SECTION 5 :

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

- MBA Sales & Marketing (Premier Institute)

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE :

- 5-7 years of Sales & Marketing experience in relevant industry

- Experience in Sales, Strategic planning and execution.

- Knowledge of managing Product lifecycle

- Experience in executing Sales & marketing strategies

- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation & relationship management skills.

- High on self-motivation, positive attitude and work ethic desired

- Ability to work under pressure
