- Lead and Supervise the Sales team for our client's business opportunities within the India Region.
- Implement and execute business plans for the India region.
- Drive, manage and supervise the team's individual Account Plans, Sales activities plans, Business Forecasts, and business travel to meet and execute according to business needs.
- Assist in development of appropriate India region sales business strategies and lead the implementation of the strategy.
- New business development in identified markets vs. plan (nr. Of new customers, revenue growth, customized solutions) in identified markets
- Report regularly to Management (both the India Regional Manager and the General Manager - Commercial Channels) on business performance metrics
- Facilitate communication between and with various constituencies - e.g., Customers; Engineering, Logistics & Operations departments; India management and Pacific management, to assure complete and comprehensive understanding of issues, priorities and opportunities.
- Build, enhance & sustain high level / strategic relationships with key customers
- Identify and develop key channel partners in the geography
Management Accountabilities :
- Plan and direct sales activities to achieve identified sales targets.
- Secure profitable orders, within the agreed pricing policy, and manage the commercial risk.
- Recruit, manage, develop and motivate sales team members.
- Supervise, coach and lead the sales team to effectively achieve set performance goals and results.
Education/degree :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a reputable university.
- Advanced studies in Engineering, and business subjects, or an MBA are desirable.
Work experience :
- A minimum of 15 years experience in engineering industry with 5 years experience in a leadership role in Sales and knowledge of Hydraulics
- Good understanding of business processes and industrial marketing.
- Experience working for an international organization.
- Strong skills and working knowledge of CRM and IT tools.
- Experience in leading, managing and developing technical sales staff & teams.
