Job Purpose
Motivate and work with sales team to develop business, customer service and achieve business targets
Key Performance Indicators :
- Budgeted Sales
- Collection targets
- Competitor analysis
- Promote special products
- Market survey in new locations
- Resolving customers complaints
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Identify customers / generate order to meet targets
- Approve quotations
- Set sales and price targets for sales officers
- Monitor/support field sales officers and develop a strong sales team
- Implement Credit Policy and control the outstanding below the limits set
- Achieve low credit period and timely collections
- Provide technical information to customers
- Provide necessary documentation for plant to execute order satisfactory and to accounts department
- Create market awareness about products
- Provide Market intelligence reports to the Business Heads and other teams
- Take customer feedback and measure customer satisfaction
- Evaluate Market size / share
- Gather information on competitors activities
- Ensuring compliance with all the systems including managing the data, systems, and documentation
- Required to spend over 60% of time in the field
Qualifications:
Essential Academic/Educational Qualifications : Graduate plus MBA/PGDM (full time)
Experience :
a. Minimum period of relevant experience required (in years) - 6-10 years
b. Nature/ Type of Experience required : Experience in sales
c. Industries where such experience can be acquired: Ready mix Concrete /Building Material /Cement/Construction /Paint Industry
